The Digital Revolution Shakes the Creative Industries – What’s to be Gained, Lost and Learned?
International conference and workshops Reykjavík 1 and 2 October 2010
This year’s YAIC conference has now been confirmed for October 1st and 2nd, 2010. The themes and topics will continue the conference’s general mission to explore the ongoing effects of the digital revolution on music and related creative industries.
YAIC seeks to define new opportunities and business models in the digital space as well as looking into new consumer behaviour and marketing trends. The event prides itself on encouraging non-hierarchy networking as well as inviting an equal number of men and women to speak.

You Are In Control 
To “You are in Control”Anna Hildur and Kamilla Ingibergsdóttir;
This conference was and still is very inspiring to me.The panels and especially the workshops were held at a very professional level.I took a lot of ideas back to my daily work in our law office in Berlin. The musicians, composers and labels as our clients will have the chance to participate in some of the new ideas to market their products. Also I have never attended a conference that was organized in such a perfect way.
There is one comment I should like to mention at this point: The panels should concentrate on just one or two topics to get in deeper details. Sometimes there were to many topics to talk about with 5 or 6 participants in just one hour.
